Scripture Text: I John 2:15-17 says, "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

The world is neither the answer nor the place for finding God's plan for your life. Regardless of how successful or unsuccessful you have been, there is only one place to find God's divine plan for your life. The Word of God is that place. You do not have to be a theologian to know His direct plan for "whosoever will". His direct plan for you is that you must be born again, you must be obedient, and you must live by faith:

Faith              (Living for and believing in a God whom you have never seen.)

Assurance       (Knowing that regardless of the mistakes you make, He is there to make them lessons, and He will love you through them.)

Inspiration       (Because of who you are in Him, faith will inspire you to do things before you see the resources.)

Truth              (Truth is the resource that will help you stand when you are in doubt of everyone around you. Truth is the Word of God, and truth is the person Jesus Christ.)

Hope               (Faith builds hope in a God we've never seen, and our hope should only be in Him.)

The principles God gives us of being born again, being obedient, and living by faith are not choices. They are commands for all who serve in the Kingdom of God. Which of these three are you struggling with? Maybe you are moving forward in all three. I pray that you are. God's will for you is to find pleasure in these things and to live a joyous life in Him.

God's plan for every born again believer is to train them up in three areas of righteousness: making Him first, studying His word, and applying His truths.
